RDW Exhibitions is a centrally-based exhibition stand contractor with over 45 years’ experience in the industry – but what does that actually mean?

Firstly, we are a team of highly-skilled and lovely people, here to help and advise all our clients through the potentially daunting prospect of exhibiting and creating a workable exhibition stand. We guide our clients through the whole process of exhibition stand design, from conception to birth and beyond.

To fully understand what we do at RDW Exhibitions, we’ve simplified the process below.

Exhibition stand design

We’ve been in the industry for many years – more than we care to remember. But with age, comes a lot of wisdom.

We can take any exhibition stand space and produce a design to suit your business, marketing aims, style and budget. We’ve seen and designed a lot of stands in our time and one thing is clear – always make sure you spend time planning your space wisely from the outset.

Our exhibition stand designers can offer all sorts of advice from how to create a high impact, wow factor exhibition stand or display, to the simpler and more technical details, such as where to position electricity points and what size they need to be. The last thing you want to do is blow the electrics at the NEC (we know it won’t happen, but you get our point!)

A well-designed stand not only looks good but also works well for you on show days. Do you want a meeting room on the stand? An area away from customers’ prying eyes to allow staff a break? Or maybe big, stunning, high impact graphics as far as the eye can see? Discuss all your exhibition stand requirements with your stand contractor and anyone worth their salt will offer helpful advice and guidance when needed.

Exhibition stand manufacture

You have a beautiful stand visual (supplied by your stand contractor) and have given the green light for manufacture – exciting times! Whether that’s a modular exhibition stand, a custom modular exhibition stand, or a full ‘bells and whistles’ custom-built stand, it now needs building, ready for reality and show time.

At RDW Exhibitions, we have a team of highly skilled carpenters and technicians who can turn those designs into reality. Your exhibition stand is lovingly made using a keen eye for detail and a quality many would be envious of. 

Once the manufacture is complete, we can also offer a full trial build for most stands if you’d like to see it ready to go. This also provides an opportunity for any last minute ‘tweaks’, such as adding a counter here, or a literature display there. Many of our clients find this invaluable and it’s not a service offered by every exhibition stand contractor. 

Exhibition stand build/set-up

You’ve gone through the stand design, the manufacture and now the day is finally here.

We love early mornings (good job!) and, having carefully packed and stored your exhibition stand ready for transit during the days previous, we are off to your venue. We have set up at exhibition venues across the UK and Europe so there’s never a dull moment for the RDW site teams.

Our technicians quickly get to work, liaising with venue staff – as well as show electricians and suppliers – to lay your chosen flooring in your booked space and erect the exhibition stand or display. The stand will be fully-built, powered, furnished and cleaned, as required, ready for your arrival and stand handover before the show opens.

The rest, as they say, is up to you – enjoy the show and make it a prosperous one.

Life after the exhibition

It’s been a long day of hard work for you – we know you’ll be exhausted. So our site teams will return on the last day for the close of the show, to dismantle and remove your display, and take it back to our HQ. We can even bring back any of your equipment or leftover literature, and you can collect it from us at a later date – just let us know beforehand.

If you’ve purchased (rather than hired) your exhibition stand from us, we can clean, package and store it safely at our dedicated second site, or deliver it back to you to keep on your premises until it’s needed again. The choice is yours.
