Today, we’re turning our attention to NEC Birmingham; a place we’ve visited on numerous occasions as suppliers of modular and custom build exhibition stands. About NEC Birmingham

Firstly, based in such a central location of the country, NEC Birmingham is probably deemed to be one of the most popular venues in the UK, hosting a whopping 500 events and 2.4 million guests every year. 

Accessing the NEC is easy with excellent transport links available via plane, train and car. In the event that you do travel by car, there are plenty of well-signposted car parks with electronic signage directing you to specific parking locations for build-up and breakdown vehicles.

Finally, when it comes to what’s available inside the NEC and how to go about exhibiting your products or services, you can find a staggering 18 halls and 32 conference suites; so there are plenty of options to choose from.

Our experience of working at NEC Birmingham

As mentioned above, we’ve attended the NEC on many occasions; far too many to recall in fact. We’ve always found it to be the most conveniently-located exhibition venue in the UK and, with our offices based just outside Shrewsbury, we’re just a little over an hour’s drive away.

Our experience here has meant that we are very familiar with the health and safety protocol, the deposit and parking systems, as well as the build-up and breakdown procedure, making both the set-up and dismantling a smooth and easy process.

The staff are extremely professional to work with and the facilities are of the highest standard. Should you be travelling from a long distance and require accommodation, there is an on-site hotel available together with a large selection of places to eat and drink. 

And finally, when it comes to the set-up of your exhibition stand, there are many possibilities to choose from. Rigging is possible in the halls, with water, waste, internet and electrical services available in ducts throughout the hall. There is also free WiFi in the halls.
